Disclaimer: while the crepe batter is gluten free (rice flour base) not all the fillings are (specifically the custard). The staff is very knowledgeable about what ingredients are safe + taking precautions to reduce cross contact. They double & triple checked ingredients with us which was great!

Even if you don’t go in for the crepes the teas are INCREDIBLE and we couldn’t stop talking about them!

They’re in a tough location so any love you can send their way is always appreciated!

Having a newborn = having coffee on the brain 24/7 so I figured I’d share one of my favorite cold brew + cold foam recipes! While I’m not dairy free, @nutpods makes some of my favorite creamers & I always have a bottle in my fridge!

Dairy free cold foam is notoriously thin but I think I’ve cracked the code to make it nice and creamy! Comment “coffee” and I’ll send you the recipe!

one week of our sweet baby boy!

My labor experience was truly so positive and full of joy! I was in denial that I was in labor since it meant he was 10 days early, but Titus had his own plans for us!

Labor was about 12 hours start to finish and we spent only about 4 hours of that in the hospital because it all happened so fast! A cervical check after the epidural showed I was 9cm and it broke my water — he was here 40 minutes later!

Getting the epidural allowed me to be so present when pushing and I was joyful and laughing through the process!

Now we’ve had a whole extra week of snuggles with the most perfect boy and we’re just so in love!

We’re in the home stretch!!!

Breakfast is staying steady with some sort of protein packed egg scramble & gluten free Carbonaut toast!

Lunch is usually a bowl of leftovers with leafy greens, protein, and high-fiber carbs!

Dinner here was a Thai peanut chicken dish with brown rice noodles & it might be the best thing I’ve made since finding out I have gestational diabetes!

I have to be careful with dates because of the carb/sugar content but if I pair them with a high protein meal then im all good to go!
