That’s right! You heard me! When @glassofweinstein announced his third annual #rotisseriechickenchallenge I knew I had to join in! We know groceries are expensive these days and I’m all about maximizing my grocery budget while making delicious food + minimizing waste however I can!

The best bite of our Florida trip easily belonged to @crackdkitchen BUT never fear, if you don’t live in Florida, they also have two locations in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire (yes we’re already planning a road trip)!!

The coffees were fantastic, the burritos were loaded & packed with flavor AND everything was celiac safe! What more could you ask for?!

Unfortunately, we discovered this place too late in our trip to stay for lunch and grab a fried chicken sandwich, but that’s what the road trip will be for!

@stephanies_crepes a 100% gluten free storefront with tons of savory and sweet crepe options!

@eclairaffaire a French cafe with lots of gluten free options that are made offsite so risk of cross contact is low! We tried the 3 gluten free eclairs available, a quiche, and a chocolate mousse kiss!

@puravidamiami has been on my list for sooo long & it did not disappoint! Need a chicken kale Caesar in my life daily! Smoothies were yummy too!

@bigmikesglutenfree is a 100% gluten free facility + also vegan friendly! The waffle was one of the best I’ve had! Grabbed some muffins and donuts to go (not pictured) and really enjoyed them. Nothing like knowing with 100% certainty that food is safe 🫶🏼

second trimester has been SO fun for food so here’s a little glimpse into what a day of eating looks like for me! Protein continues to be a big goal of mine + absolutely getting in plenty of fiber (iykyk)!

Some highlights:
• big fan of anything from @queenstreetbakery! lots of whole grains + fiber and super tasty! Great gluten free option!
• matcha lattes are the latest pregnancy craving!
• I made a lighter/easier chicken parm on a sheet pan and it’s now going to be a weekly meal at this point!
• @eatbobos is one of my favorite on the go snacks at the moment!
• ending the night with cereal always 😂

bits & bites of the first trimester!

I was nauseas 24/7 so I always had to be snacking! @sweetlorens breakfast biscuits, @threewishes fruity cereal, and @madegoodfoods star puffed crackers kept me sane!

when it came to meals I craved meat and carbs! many dinners were pasta bowls with @amylufoods meatballs or a burger bowl with @uswellnessmeats ground beef!

Pancake bowls with @kingarthurbaking protein pancake mix were & still are a staple!

Luckily stumbled upon @vitalpursuit during a Target run and Im convinced this baby is part pizza at this point lol

Happy to be out of the first trimester trenches & enjoying food again!
