one week of our sweet baby boy!

My labor experience was truly so positive and full of joy! I was in denial that I was in labor since it meant he was 10 days early, but Titus had his own plans for us!

Labor was about 12 hours start to finish and we spent only about 4 hours of that in the hospital because it all happened so fast! A cervical check after the epidural showed I was 9cm and it broke my water — he was here 40 minutes later!

Getting the epidural allowed me to be so present when pushing and I was joyful and laughing through the process!

Now we’ve had a whole extra week of snuggles with the most perfect boy and we’re just so in love!

We’re in the home stretch!!!

Breakfast is staying steady with some sort of protein packed egg scramble & gluten free Carbonaut toast!

Lunch is usually a bowl of leftovers with leafy greens, protein, and high-fiber carbs!

Dinner here was a Thai peanut chicken dish with brown rice noodles & it might be the best thing I’ve made since finding out I have gestational diabetes!

I have to be careful with dates because of the carb/sugar content but if I pair them with a high protein meal then im all good to go!

The best bite of our Florida trip easily belonged to @crackdkitchen BUT never fear, if you don’t live in Florida, they also have two locations in Massachusetts and one in New Hampshire (yes we’re already planning a road trip)!!

The coffees were fantastic, the burritos were loaded & packed with flavor AND everything was celiac safe! What more could you ask for?!

Unfortunately, we discovered this place too late in our trip to stay for lunch and grab a fried chicken sandwich, but that’s what the road trip will be for!
