Having a newborn = having coffee on the brain 24/7 so I figured I’d share one of my favorite cold brew + cold foam recipes! While I’m not dairy free, @nutpods makes some of my favorite creamers & I always have a bottle in my fridge!

Dairy free cold foam is notoriously thin but I think I’ve cracked the code to make it nice and creamy! Comment “coffee” and I’ll send you the recipe!

one week of our sweet baby boy!

My labor experience was truly so positive and full of joy! I was in denial that I was in labor since it meant he was 10 days early, but Titus had his own plans for us!

Labor was about 12 hours start to finish and we spent only about 4 hours of that in the hospital because it all happened so fast! A cervical check after the epidural showed I was 9cm and it broke my water — he was here 40 minutes later!

Getting the epidural allowed me to be so present when pushing and I was joyful and laughing through the process!

Now we’ve had a whole extra week of snuggles with the most perfect boy and we’re just so in love!

We’re in the home stretch!!!

Breakfast is staying steady with some sort of protein packed egg scramble & gluten free Carbonaut toast!

Lunch is usually a bowl of leftovers with leafy greens, protein, and high-fiber carbs!

Dinner here was a Thai peanut chicken dish with brown rice noodles & it might be the best thing I’ve made since finding out I have gestational diabetes!

I have to be careful with dates because of the carb/sugar content but if I pair them with a high protein meal then im all good to go!

the most perfect day celebrating our baby boy with friends & family — even if MDW didn’t deliver on the sunny & 75 weather I was hoping for lol

Our families truly delivered with our vision! I just wanted a pretty barbecue with our people, the grandpas grilling, nontraditional games (Brandon is now terrified of carrot baby food), and a soda bar lol!

The best day & now I’m ready for August to hurry up & get here so we can meet our baby boy 🥹
